Essay

The dissertation studies the place and role of Ukrainian cossacks organizations of XVI-XVIII centuries in the processes of state creation. Author established that Ukrainian cossacks played a significant impact on the ways of Ukrainian state and Ukrainian political nation forming, and was the bearer of the national idea. The emergence and operation of cossack organizations of XVI-XVIII centuries was described as the result of self-organizing processes in the Ukrainian society, the highest manifestation of what became Zaporizhs'ka Sich. As an important factor for the Ukrainian state, author recognized cossacks organizations integrity in the system of political life in Ukraine during XVII-XVIII centuries. Author proved that the experience of creating cossacks Ukrainian statehood meet the needs of national development.
