Research object: the process of construction of Zaporizhzhyan industrial complex. The aim of research: to show the character and the meaning of the cooperation of the soviet and the foreign specialists in Ukraine in the conditions of the Stalin's modernization on the example of Zaporizhzhyan industrial complex. The subject of research: the place and the role of the foreign specialists on the construction of the Zaporizhzhyan industrial complex in 20-30-th years XX c. Research methods: logical, historical comparison, historical-genetical, the problem and chronological, historical and topological, the system-structure, statistical. Research results and the novelty: the complex research of the role and the place of the foreign specialists in the soviet modernization in the time of construction of Zaporizhzyan industrial complex in 20-30-th years of XX c. were made. The scale, the plot and the effect of its production activity was characterized. The conclusions about the contribution of the foreign specialists in the process of the industrialization of Ukraine were deepen. The character of the influence of the administrative system and the political repressions on the foreign specialists of the industrial complex was defined. The area of usage: development of the special and the general researches, the training courses of the history of Ukraine, the preparation of the solutions of authorities, that are targeted at the organization of the international cooperation.
