Essay

Object – future teachers’ training at high pedagogical educational establishments of Ukraine; the aim – to systematize theoretical ideas and to generalize the experience of mental independence forming in order to improve the future teachers’ training and to develop their personal professional qualities; methods – general scientific, historical-pedagogical, structural, prognostic; novelty – the scientists’ contribution in development of investigating problem theoretical principles has been first made on each determined stage which lied in revealing the essence of notion “mental independence” as “definite personal quality”, as “ integral personal characteristic”, in defining the components of mental independence; the stages and tendencies of mental independence forming problem development of future teachers have been determined; the experience of mental independence forming of HPEE students has been generalized, its forms and methods of development have been characterized; results – formulated in the investigation regulations and conclusions according to mental independence forming of future teacher give the reason for improvement of the content, forms and methods of students’ training in high pedagogical educational establishments. Conclusions and results of dissertation may be used in the process teaching courses in “Pegagogics”, “History of pedagogics”, special courses and special seminars at HPEE of III-IV levels of accreditation, in system of teachers’ qualification advancement, in process of writing text-books in pedagogical disciplines; field – pedagogy.
