Essay

In the thesis the contents and the structure of the phenomenon "education managers' readiness for professional activity in the policultural educational environment" have been defined and theoretically grounded. This term is defined as a complex, integrated, personal formation which includes psychological, cognitive and functional components for solving the professional tasks that require taking into account ethnocultural, sociopsycholinguistic, pedagogical and other factors of different educational establishments development. The criteria (motivation-targeted, knowledge-contented, procedural-technological) and their evaluative indicators have been determined. The levels of readiness (high, average, basic, low) have been characterized. The experimental model of developing education managers' readiness for professional activity in the policultural educational environment which reflects the aim, pedagogical factors, methods, forms, teaching stages (motivating and reflexive, informative and cognitive, operating and projective) and obtained results, has been elaborated and introduced into practice.
