Essay

Object: characteristics of variation of yield capacity and seeds sowing quality of sugar maize and optimization of growing technological elements and methods of seed production. The aim: to find out parameters of variation of yield capacity and seeds sowing quality for breeding; to develop effective ways of growing and technique for propagation of varieties and F1 hybrids of sugar maize in the conditions of right-bank Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine. The novelty: there are first developed scientific solution for finding out a features of yield formation in linear material and their use in breeding and seed production of the varieties and F1 hybrids of sugar maize. Regularities of changes in yield and sowing quality of varieties and F1 hybrids depending on technological elements and weather conditions is grounded. The results: the system of measures for obtaining and cultivation of seed of varieties and F1 hybrids in right-bank Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine is worked out. For the formation of conditioned seed yield up to 5,0 t / ha, it is recommended optimal allocation scheme (60-80 thousand units/Ha of plants), sowing dates (25. April to 15. May), fertilizer doses (manure 30 t / ha + N60P90K45). Seed producers are provided with effective techniques and methods of growing and multiplication of varietal and hybrid seeds. The bred hybrid Skvorushka T F1 was submitted for qualification expertise to the State Service for the Protection of Plant Varieties in 2010. The patent No. 69585 UA, A01C 7/00 "Method of growing of sugar maize seed" is obtained.
