Essay

Dissertation work is dedicated to study of structural and functional changes of heart in experimental atherosclerosis and in conditions of gene correction. Experimental atherosclerosis causes structural changes in heart and in its components such as hypertrophy of heart parts and its chambers dilatation, thickening walls of heart blood vessels and narrowing aperture, reducing square of profile and diameter of cardiomyocites and their nuclei. Gene apoE usage for preventing atherosclerosis causes reducing thickness of arterial walls, dilatation of vessels aperture, normalization of cytocariometrical indicators. Gene apoE usage for treatment of atherosclerosis causes tendency to normalization of cytocariometrical indicators, insignificant reducing of thickness of blood vessels walls and increasing of their apertures.
