Alforov O. The role of the Golub Cossack Officers' family in the history of Ukraine in the second half of XVI - the late eighteenth century

The Dissertation is devoted to the role of the Golub Cossack Officers' family, and its branches like Manuylovychi, Zinevichi, Voitenky and Alferovy in the history of Ukraine in the second half of XVI - the late eighteenth century. The role of the family that was investigated in the history of creation, evolution, last years of existence the Cossack administrative system, features of their political, economic and cultural activities was defined on the basis of a wide range of literature, archival and published sources. The author analyzed the mechanisms of social class and marriage policy within the hetman circles and place of the clan in the history of Ukraine Cossack era. Social aspects of activity of the family, its participation in the educational process were investigated in this dissertation.
