The thesis focuses on the Ukrainian phenomenon of the so-called outlook publicistics as a valuable and sophisticated paradigm of analytical journalism. The author has analyzed this paradigm from the semantic, axiological, and anthropological perspectives. At the semantic level, the author compares different approaches to the understanding of publicistics nowadays. She has analyzed existing definitions of the concept of publicistics and suggested a new definition and typology through the synthesis of the results.
