The dissertation is devoted to studying the problem of professional self-determination of lawmen on the basis of gender approach. The research deals with gender peculiarities of professional self-determination of lawmen on different stages of their professional formation, the analysis of motivational and value components of professional self-determination of lawmen as well as a system of their attitudes to the profession and the closely-related legal and universal phenomena. The author gives practical advice how to optimize professional self-determination of lawmen from the gender aspect
