Dissertation is devoted to the research of an educational potential of the epistolary genre in V. Sukhomlynsky's pedagogical heritage. The epistolary genre is integrally analysed in the context of vital way and V. Sukhomlynsky's educational activity. Methodological approaches and principles of study of pedagogical epistolary are grounded. The author technology of pedagogical analysis of V. Sukhomlynsky's epistolary is given. A value and importance of the epistolary genre is found out in V. Sukhomlynsky's pedagogical heritage.
