Ludorovs'ka T. Origin of Tor and Bakhmut salt-mines and their development during the 17th-19th centuries.

In the thesis the complex analysis of development of Tor and Bakhmut salt-mines during the 17th-19th centuries has been carried out. The level of collaboration of the subject, the territorial and chronological frameworks of research, the scientific novelty, methods of research and main groups of used sources have been characterized. The work reveals the regularities of accumulation of scientific knowledge on the subject. On the basis of analysis of domestic and foreign historiography the main stages of development of salt-mines of Donbass area were determined, the changes in the technics and technology of salt extraction were analyzed, the volumes of production are considered and the prices for all kinds of extracted salt were found out. The market outlets were investigated and comparative characteristic of salt extraction in Donbass, Crimea and Russian salt sources was made.
