Object of research - the functional state of goats' liver and kidneys in health and disease. The goal of research is to explore the functional state of liver and kidneys of clinically healthy goats of all ages, breeds, gestation and lactation periods and to develop informative methods of diagnostic hepato- and nephropathy and to substantiate pathogenetic therapy for fasciolasis. Research methods:clinical, general blood analysis and clinical urine analysis; biochemical (total protein and its fractions, cholesterol, total and conjugated bilirubin, urea, creatinine, the activity of AsAT, AlAT, GGTP were measured in blood and colloidal-flocculation tests were taken; protein, urea, creatinine, the activity of AsAT, AlAT, GGTP were measured in urine and sediment microscopy was conducted); histological, scatological; statistical. Scientific novelty: For the first time in Ukraine physiological limits of indexes of functional state of the hepatobiliary and renal systems of clinically healthy goats depending on species, age and physiological state were established, which is the basis for the development of early diagnostic criteria of pathology of the liver and kidneys. The limits of enzyme activity in goats' urine (AsAT, AlAT, GGTP) and their indexes (AsATu/Kru, AlATu/Kru, GGTPu/Kru) were developed. Pathogenetic components of liver and kidneys disease development of goats with fasciolasis were substantiated on the basis of biomedical measurements of blood and urine and histological changes of the liver and kidneys. It was established that hepatopathy for invasion occurs by cytolytic, cholestatic and hepatodepressive syndromes. With increased indexes of creatinine, urea, Kru/Krb, Uu/Ub indexes in urine; reduced AsATu/Kru, AlATu/Kru coefficients and histological changes the presence of inveterate parenchymal glomerulonephritis of goats with fasciolasis was proved. Pathogenetic therapy for hepato- and nephropathy of goats with fasciolasis, with the usage of medications RBS and Catosal was tested. Introduction:scientific findings are used in research work and in academic activity at Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Poltava State Agrarian Academy, Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies named after S.Z. Gzhytskyj, Podolsky State Agricultural and Technical University, SB NUL&ES of Ukraine "Crimean Agrotechnological University", Lugansk National Agrarian University, Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine (Republic of Belarus), they are also used by practitioners and in chemico-toxicological departments of state laboratories of Veterinary medicine of Bila Tserkva, as well as in Bila Tserkva, Boguslav and Tarashcha districts of Kiev region, Dolynska, Kompaniyivka, Novgorodka and Olexandria districts of Kirovohrad region. Fild (industry) of use: Veterinary Medicine.
