Lidiya L. Health Care in Chernihiv Region (1960s - 1980s)

The thesis is based on a comprehensive analysis of the sources and literature and deals with the health system in Chernihiv region in 1960s - 1980s. The general principles of "public health protection", including forms and methods of state regulation of social institutions, the content of medical care are defined in the given thesis. The development of medical care in the region, the effect of specialized medical care introduction over the years is also clarified here. The thesis also specifies the reason of urban and rural population health deterioration in Chernigov region, determines the scale of demographic crisis and analyzes mortality and birthrate. Based on the analysis of numerous socio-economic factors the review of scientific support of health facilities is given here.
