Essay

The dissertation studies the mineral metabolism in the body of pregnant, lactating and young mink and is aimed to develop the methods of prevention and treatment of disorders by using the complex mineral drug Minkovit, based on organic compounds of biogenic macro-and micronutrients. It's ascertained that the mink needs in minerals (Na, K, Zn, Cu, Mn, Co, Se) are not ensured within existing nursing model without adequate use of feed additives. Such lack of nutrients results in the development of complex mineral metabolism disorders clinically manifested by mink dwarfism, dysfunctional delivery, anemia, impaired fur (covering fur thinning, sheared fur, twiddled fur ends, trichorrhexis and onset of white underhair) and causes the clinical conditions disturbances, the abnormalities of morphological and biochemical parameters of blood and the derangements of related metabolic processes in the mink body. Minkovit is developed for the prevention and treatment of mineral metabolism disorders in the minks body, it improves the animals clinical conditions, normalizing the macro- and micronutrients content in the blood and the fur, the hemocytopoiesis processes and the general metabolism. The Minkovit ensures the optimal conditions for the formation, growth and development of foetuses, the mink fertility increase and a high-quality mink fur.
