Patrylyak B. Ukrainian peasantry resistance to the social and economic activities of soviet power in 1927 - 1933.

In dissertation the author uses historical sources and literature and focused on the problem of Ukrainian peasants' resistance against the social and economic distortions of Soviet power in 1927 - 1933. Peasant resistance to collectivization analyzed from 1927 to 1933 because in 1927 begins preparations for the total collectivization of agriculture and collective farm system in the Ukrainian SSR wins in 1933 due to massive repression and hunger. The author found which campaigns Soviet authorities caused the greatest resistance of Ukrainian peasants. The special attention was paid to analysis of forms and methods of peasants' struggle. The author found out the regional features of Ukrainian peasants' resistance against the transformations of Soviet power. The main reasons of peasants' defeat in the struggle against agriculture collectivization were outlined.
