Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to historical and pedagogical analysis of educational movement in Ukraine in 1917-1920 years. For the first time, the historical way of the nascence, formation and development of the Society of school education is holistically covered; the structure, composition and sources of financing of the Society are analyzed based on the archival and published sources, researching historical and pedagogical literature and statistics. Stages and content of the Society of school education are detected and substantiated. The analysis of the basic directions of its cultural and educational activities is conducted: activities for development of Ukrainian national school, scientific, educational and publishing activities.
