Zhyvaga O. Historical and scientific analysis of activity of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine

In dissertation by historical and scientific analysis is shown that foundation of the NAPS of Ukraine is the result of the long historical development of the national pedagogics in its different forms and displays. On the basis of results of sociological research of activity of the NAPS of Ukraine is established that the present state of academy is determined by its growth and attempt to comprehend educational space of Ukraine, to establish permanent contacts with educational establishments of different levels. It is discovered that the modern problems of subsequent development of the NAPS of Ukraine are conditioned by the processes of globalization and construction of informative society. Pedagogical science is lacked of theoretical comprehension, explanation, deep theories, prediction of scientific achievements. The NAPS of Ukraine with its level of fundamental nature must work on reorientation of the educational system on the whole and on person centered pedagogics. The dissertation is built on vast factual material, including archives, material from history of pedagogical science which is analysed and interpreted from the methodological perspective with respect to science of science, history and science organization.
