Nazarov O. Increasing the effectiveness of sorting process at the humps by means of quasi-continuous speed control systems of cuts

The purpose dissertation work is to reduce the operational costs associated with the sorting process at the humps by means of the introduction of the quasi-continuous speed control systems with point regulators. In this work the method of determination of parameters of the quasi-continuous speed control system of the cuts is first worked out on roll-down part of hump, that allows to estimate expediency of the use of point hump retarders instead of beam. Dependences of indexes of quality of process of filling the wagons of sorting sidings are first obtained on parameters quasi-continuous speed control systems, allowing to work out norms for planning of the humps, equipped by the similar systems. The task of determination of rational parameters of the quasi-continuous speed control system of the cuts is first set forth and decided by point regulators that provide the rational indexes of quality of process of filling the wagons of sorting sidings.
