The dissertation is dedicated to the social-geographic research of historic and cultural tourist resources of the region, their estimation and determination the possibilities of optimum use in the process of tourist activity of Ternopil region. A state of maintanance, features of placing and modern level of use in tourism of historic and culture resources are analysed. Prospects of development of different types of tourism, depending on territorial combination of historic and cultural tourist resources and state of tourist infrastructure in tourist and resources regions are grounded.
