The object of research: socio-political and economic situation in the Crimea during the famine years 1921-1923. The aim of research: comprehensively analyze the causes, especially the occurrence, extent and consequences of the famine years 1921-1923 in the Crimea. The subject of research: reasons, scale famine, its occurrence, consequences and policy, maintained by central and local authorities to the starving population in 1921-1923 in the Crimea. The methods of research: analytical, synthetic, historic-genetic, historic-comparative, problem-chronological. The results of research and novelty: for the first time in the national historiography complex analysis of hunger 1921-1923 biennium, its causes, characteristics and consequences of flow at the regional level - in the Crimea. Found that the main reasons that caused the famine lay in the policy of the Bolshevik regime. Determined the effects of hunger, which appeared in the economic, social and cultural spheres.The sphere of usage: the further research of the current subject, writing of the synthesis works, manuals, reading of the high school courses on the history of Ukraine.
