Miroshnichenko D. Regional Medicine on the Territory of Ukraine in the Second Half of the XIXs Century – on the Beginning of the XXs Century: Formation of the Preventive Approach.

The complex analysis of the formation process and the development of the regional medicine, its preventive approach on the territory of Ukraine in the second part of the XIXs – the beginning of the XXs century was made at the first time; social and economic preconditions were cleared up and the main stages of the preventive directions of the regional medicine were established; the contribution of the society in the memory of M.I. Pyrogov and the Russian Society of the Public Health for the supplement in the scientific and organizational support in the regional medicine activity were shown; the main structures of the participation of the work of the regional medicine and in the work of the regional doctors were established; the urgent actions in the negotiation of the infectious and social diseases were shown; the preventive work of the regional doctors are shown, the theoretical aspects and the common practical experience of O.W. Korchak-Tchepurkiwskyi, S.A. Tomilin, S.I. Igumnova, O.M. Marseieva, M.I. Tesiakova as the beginners of the formation proses and the development of the regional medicine as whole and its preventive structure were analyzed.
