Essay

For the first time ever dissertation in social communication theory studied in synchronous and diachronic cuts communication features of Ukrainian essays as the phenomenon of journalistic work. The model of essayist's communication position was designed and substantiated. The generation and functioning of essayistic subdyskurs was interpreted through personal and group identity of authors of essays, the author grounded the scheme of this mechanism. In semiosphere of Ukrainian essays the basic concepts of "man", "Motherland", "culture" were discovered and described.
