Object – professional training of future engineers-mathematicians in technical universities; aim – to find out the influence of theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions of forming professional competence of mathematical modeling in future engineers-mathematicians in the teaching process of technical universities in order to raise the efficiency of this process; methods – theoretical, empirical, of mathematical statistics; novelty - the dissertation has been the first to provide theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions of forming professional competence of mathematical modeling in future engineers-mathematicians in technical universities; the definition of the term “professional competence of mathematical modeling in future engineers-mathematicians” as a personality formation has been specified; methods and forms of forming professional competence of mathematical modeling in future engineers-mathematicians have been investigated; results – the researched pedagogical conditions have undergone testing, their efficiency has been proved, which allows to use the results of the research in training future engineers-mathematicians in technical universities. Theoretical ideas and practical data of the dissertation may be used in the teaching courses: “Differential Equations”,” Modeling of Ecological, Economic and Social processes”; field – pedagogy.
