Essay

The dissertation proposes the scientifically grounded essence of spiritual and moral personality education process, main approaches and ideas are displayed, which dominated in native pedagogical theory and practice at the end of XIX - the beginning of XX century in decision of spiritual and moral pupils' youth education problems. The meaning of socio-educational teacher function is explained, who involved in spiritual and moral education process in educational institutions. The program of special course "Spiritual - and moral development of pupils youth in culture-educational environment" for higher institutions is developed.
