Shelementsev I. Education and philanthropy activity of M. Vorontsov in Tavricheskaya province (1782 - 1856 yy.)

In the dissertation is implemented a holistic historical and pedagogical analysis of educational and charitable activities of Mikhail Vorontsov in Tavricheskaya province in ХIХ century. Main areas of charitable and educational activities of Mikhail Vorontsov in the nineteenth century in the field of science, culture, education in Tavricheskaya province: the creation and funding of educational institutions of different types of shelters, construction of apartments, villas for rehabilitation and treatment of people who have had this necessity, the creation of libraries, museums, scientific societies, shows the role of Mikhail Vorontsov in charitable activities aimed at the development of the education system and the possibility of using the experience of the past in a modern establishment and development of the education system of the Crimea are disclosed in the dissertation.
