The dissertation is devoted to the study of historical and pedagogical aspects of the genesis of education of the professional value orientations of future teachers in higher educational institutions of Ukraine in the second half of 20th - beginning of 21st century. The didactic tools are characterized and the trends of education of the professional value orientations of future teachers in higher educational institutions of Ukraine are identified. The theoretical ideas are systematized, the experience of formation and development of the professional value orientations of future teachers in higher educational institutions of Ukraine is summarized, and on this basis the prospects of further education of the professional value orientations of future teachers in the pedagogical higher educational establishments of Ukraine are grounded.
