The theoretical bases of medical institutions pharmaceutical provision realization, its common concepts and functions, stages of development and formation, influence on it the experience of other countries, the modern condition of its organization in medical institutions have been investigated in the thesis. The scientific guidelines in optimization of medical institutions pharmaceutical provision realization via classification of medical institutions, logical clustering of its realization stages, generalization of pharmaceutical provision, justification of organization activities staffing have been elaborated. Costs for medical institutions pharmaceutical provision according to different organizational and economic schemes with comparison of its realization reserves and actual cost in the hospital conditions of some nosologies of diseases, its comparison with financial cost according to budget have been scientifically based.
