Tyzelyak N. Aggressiveness as determinant of violent criminal behavior

Object of research: public relations, arising in connection with the Commission of violent crimes. The aim of the research is to develop psychological and legal basis of the counteraction of the socially dangerous manifestations of aggression as determinants of criminal violence. Research methods: the system; structural-functional; the logical-psychological; comparative law; examination of the materials of criminal cases, documentation of prisoners; expert evaluation; polls; psychodiagnostic examination of prisoners; the logical and legal. Scientific novelty consists in, that thesis is the first in Ukraine complex monographic the study of aggression as determinants of violent criminal behavior, which offered psychological and legal basis for combating socially dangerous manifestations of violence. The specific contribution lies in the fact that the provisions set out in the dissertation and be considered at the protection, developed by the author personally. Practical significance of the results is that contained in the conclusions and suggestions can be used in the following directions: law-making, law-enforcement activities, in scientific-research activity, in the educational process. The subject matter and the degree of integration: the results of the research are used in the raising of qualification of workers of law enforcement bodies in the production of inquiry and pre-trial investigation in cases of committing a violent crime, with an increase in the qualification of the employees of the State Department for the execution of sentences concerning the application of psychological knowledge in work with convicts, serving sentences for committing violent pre revenue. The effectiveness of implementation: the implementation testify to the positive evaluation of the application of research results. Sphere of use: the lawmaking activity, law enforcement, scientific research activity, educational process.
