Essay

Based on a complex analysis of a wide range of archival, statistical, background materials, scientific publications, and church periodicals the research personified the largest priest families in Uman region. The representatives of these families created the golden fund of Ukrainian clerical elite and their selfless, preaching and educational activities contributed to the spiritual improvement of society. The thesis presents the biographies of beneficed clergymen families’ natives who rose the church hierarchy and played a prominent role in the Church history.
