Khimej V. Ukraine on the international scene at the end of ХХ – beginning of the ХХІ cent.: internal and external factors of geopolitical status forming.

For the first time in this dissertation, based on the wide range of historical sources, the influence of the new geopolitical realias (which are caused by USSR collapse and the «cold war» finish) on Ukraine’s external policy formation is revealed; the influence of transformational processes of regularities in Ukrainian country formation at the end of ХХ – beginning of ХХІ cent. and their influence on new geopolitical status of Ukraine are observed; geopolitical factors of modern historical development of Ukraine in the context of the world politics and international relations at the end of ХХ – beginning of ХХІ cent. are revealed; and the estimation of external Ukrainian policy on the background of security and national interests is successfully held.
