Essay

The thesis presents the results of developing and testing methods for improving selective growth media for the isolation from pathological material, identification and cultivation of swine mycoplasmas and reception from them biomass for production diagnosticums and vaccines. For this there have been proposed methods of preparation yeast extracts and broth from components that are domestic. On improved media there was observed intensive growth of reference strains and field cultures of different species of swine mycoplasma. Prepared from them vaccine had prophylactic efficacy for piglets from farms which are trouble concerning mycoplasmosis. Suspensions from sediment of cultures had high antigenic and immunogenic properties, as evidenced by the reception from rabbits and pigs antisera to them with agglutinin titers from 1:200 to 1:400, complement adhesive antibodies - from 1:50 to 1:200, and antibodies that delay growth of homologous mycoplasma cultures on 2-5 mm, and detection by agglutination reactions and long-term complement fixation in microvolumes homologous antibodies in the field blood serum of pigs diseased with mycoplasmosis.
