Object: administrative and territorial, social and political, cultural and educational processes which took place in Eastern Galicia in 20-30th years of the XX century. Aim: to analyze the education policy of the Second Polish Republic and the attitude of Eastern Galicia Ukrainian community towards it (based on Ternopil province). Practical significance: actual data, which characterize the education policy of Polish State during the years 1918-1939 and its implementation on the territory of Eastern Galicia. Methods: analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction, logical and historical methods, formal and conceptual methods, generalization and systematization, comparative historical method.
