Essay

Object - professional training of future translators within the teaching and educational environment of the pedagogical university. Purpose - to ground theoretically and approve experimentally the pedagogical conditions of future translators in cross-cultural communication within the teaching and educational environment of the pedagogical university. Methods - theoretical, empirical, statistic. Theoretical results and novelty - the pedagogical conditions of future translators training in cross-cultural communication within the teaching and educational environment of the pedagogical university, the components of preparedness of future translators in cross-cultural communication (motivational, cognitive, operational and reflexive, polycultural), the criteria (aim-oriented, knowledge-based, evaluating, professional and culturological) and indices have been defined; the experimental model aimed at realization of pedagogical conditions of future translators training in cross-cultural communication within the teaching and educational environment of the pedagogical university has been developed. Practical results - the methodology of diagnostics of levels of preparedness of future translators in cross-cultural communication, the teaching aid 'Cross-cultural communication in the modern world', the system of trainings, creative tasks, games, didactic materials, methodological recommendations as to preparation of future translators in cross-cultural communication within the teaching and educational environment of the pedagogical university in the teaching process of higher educational establishments have been developed, approved and put into practice. Efficiency of introduction is high. Branch - pedagogical, higher educational establishments.
