Object - professional preparation of the future translators. Purpose - to ground scientifically and approve organisational and pedagogical conditions of formation of the intercultural competence of the future translators in the process of the professional training. Methods - theoretical, empirical, statistic. Theoretical results and novelty - the essence and the structure of the notion 'intercultural competence of the future translator', organisational and pedagogical conditions of formation of the intercultural competence of the future translators in the process of the professional training, the components, criteria (theoretical, practical and personal) with their data have been defined; the experimental model of formation of the intercultural competence of the future translators has been developed. Practical results - the methodology of formation of the intercultural competence of the future translators has been developed and experimentally approved; the integrative special course and the teaching aid 'The fundamentals of intercultural competence of the translator', the system of the training exercises and the situations for the practice of the students' translation, the content of the cases, business and role-playing games that aimed at the developing of the intercultural competence of the future translators have been developed. Efficiency of introduction is high. Branch - pedagogical, higher educational establishments.
