Essay

The little known aspects of settling and social and economical arrangement of the Ukrainians deported from Poland to Southern Ukraine during 1944-1947 years have been investigated in this paper on the basis of complex learning of sources and literature. Achievements and failures in the process of the deported immigrants' accommodation in collective farms and state farms of the mentioned region have been discovered. The problem of the Polish Ukrainians provision with habitable lodging as well as building of new houses and repair of the existing ones has been shown.
