By means of detailed analysis of the whole range of statistic and archives materials as well as scientific publications the author makes a complex research of chemicalization policy in the agriculture of Ukrainian SSR. She gives the main stages and trends of this policy inculcation. All sides of the Soviet government activity in this policy, both positive and negative, are analyzed objectively. The influence of chemicalization upon the overcoming of the agricultural crisis of the 60-ties - 80-ties of 20th century is shown vividly by the author.
