Pishchanska K. Verbalization of the paralinguistic situation in A. P. Chekhov's prose.

The object is paralinguistic situation in the text. The purpose is research of paralinguistic units in the works of A. Chekhov, in which the typical paralinguistic situation of XIX century is revealed. Methods - descriptive; statistical; comparative-comparable; communicative-pragmatic; definition method. The thesis is devoted to the research of non-verbal communication. The sources of its formation are revealed, the theoretical bases of investigation of the paralinguistic phenomena in the text are established, the principal methods of gesture nomination research and the results of its usage are presented, and the structure of the plan of expression of paralinguistic units is established. In the thesis the description of verbalization of Chekhov's characters in the extra linguistic context and its linguistic analysis are provided. Kinetic and phonetic units are described, and separate kinds such as gesture, mimics, intonation are outlined. Upon research the relation between verbal and nonverbal components is described by defining real emotional state of a speaker, in consequence congruent and no congruent utterances are determined. The field is an educational process.
