Essay

The complex of morphological, morphometric, histochemistry and immunohistochemical researches of rat embryos liver after lead acetate treatment before pregnancy (during 21 days) and during pregnancy (4 mgs a day) and under "Fervital" and "Coferment Q10" correction revealed the basic mechanisms of liver failture during a 10-20 days of embryogenesis. The depression of hemopoesis, development of liver parenchima and vessels, formination of distrophic, apoptotic and necrosis gradient increasing to the peripheral parts of organ were observed. After lead acetate treatment the reduction of albumin expression in hepatocytes during 16-20 embryonic days, accumulation of ?SMA positive Ito cells in areas that demonstrated more expressive pathological transformations has been revealed. Also there was the reduction of eNOS activity in the liver vessels. The fervital correction brought to the partial maintenance of liver tissue architecture and synthetic processes in hepatocytes, as well as the eNOS expression in the vessel endothelia. The Ito cells proliferation was dependent upon local activity of dystrophic, apoptotic, fibrotic processes, regardless of group. The coferment Q10 had a less protective effect than fervital.
