Khallo O. Morpho-functional state of prostate gland and testis in norm, in case of blood circulation dysfunction and its correction

The work carried out on 82 preparations, examined for structural features of prostate gland in men of reproductive age in norm, in case of prostatitis, oblique inguinal hernia, varicocele of spermatic cord and after inguinal canal plastics. In 38 men with these diseases performed ultrasound and color angiography of the prostate. Experimentally in animals influence of subtotal circulatory hypoxia on prostate gland and also stimulation of blood flow to it was examined. Methods of investigation: histology, morphometry, ultrasound scanning, electron microscopy, statistics. Chronic hypoxia of prostate in men revealed significantly increased volume and weight of the organ and circulatory disorders in it. Increased prostate gland parameters and decreased rates of blood flow in prostate during hypoxia testicles. Experimentally obtained results showed positive effect of the proposed method of bloodstream stimulation on prostate.
