Essay

On the basis of rethinking situational changes in value-semantic concepts of scientific thought during the 70-90th years of the XXth century, analyzes the role of the humanities in the development of Ukrainian cultural studies. Taking into account the national historical experience, a sense of national self-sufficiency and scientific capacity enabled the Ukrainian humanities preserve some autonomy, form their own philosophical, aesthetic and other schools whose representatives actively developed humanitarian theory outside the Marxist-Leninist methodology, paying the greatest attention to the value- semantic content of scientific approaches, including systematic evaluation and a meaningful generalization of social phenomena in the projections of the historical features of the formation of the national mentality, spiritual values, consciousness, etc., actively engaging in the research field of various forms of cultural activity. Show how to activate the 70-90th years of the twentieth century, scientific interest in the ethical and aesthetic problems associated with culture as the embodiment of the essential characteristics of human influence on the formation of interdisciplinary connections as a prerequisite of human knowledge-based developments of European philosophy, of art, aesthetic schools of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, which, in fact, made it possible revision of traditional concepts and categorical apparatus and defined role in shaping the aesthetics of conceptual positions of contemporary Ukrainian culture studies.
