Object: prevention of child abuse in the family in Great Britain, aim: to define scientific and theoretical basis of social and pedagogical prevention of child abuse in the family in Great Britain and to determine the methods of implementation of positive British experience in Ukrainian pedagogical theory and practice; methods: analysis and generalization of scientific literature, historical retrospective, structural and comparative analysis; novelty: to determine the content and organizational principles of the prevention of child abuse in the family and social support of children, summarize the practical experience of British experts concerning it, define the ways of implementation of positive British experience in Ukraine; results: the materials of the research were implemented at the All-Ukrainian Charity Fund „Child Well-Being Fund Ukraine” as a part of complex work within „Implementation of the model of structural prevention of child abuse” and „Childhood without violence – improving protection of children in Eastern Europe” projects; branch – social pedagogy
