Grechanovska O. Formation of cultural competency in future engineers by means of innovative learning

In the process of definitive analysis of the concepts "competence", "competency", "culture", "general cultural competence", "cultural competence", "culturological competency" we found that the opinions of scientists still find the discrepancies concerning its definition and there is still no common approach of the definitions "competence" and "competency." Shown that cultural studies competence of the future engineer is a complex structure containing functionally linked components - competence: general cultural, motivational and value-based, cognitive-creative, cross-cultural, ethical, aesthetic, environmental, estimate, communicative. Allocated art as a basis of competence culturological future graduates of technical university. Based on advanced innovative technologies of training at the university selected certain forms (lectures, concerts, visual lectures, lectures, research, cultural practice), and the technique of forming culturological competence of future engineers. We determined the structure of cultural knowledge of future engineers and allocated component of their cultural competence, emphasized art as a basis for the formation of cultural competence of future graduates. We experimentally verified the effectiveness of the proposed method.
