Gutsaliuk I. Ukrainian national government bodies in Volyn (1917 - 1921)

The complex analysis of the processes and phenomena connected with the formation, organization and the main activity directions of the Ukrainian national government bodies in Volyn in 1917 - 1921 has been carried out in the dissertation. The legislative basis of the Ukrainian national government bodies in the region during the period of The Ukrainian Tsentralna Rada, P. Skoropadskyi Hetmanate, The Directory of the Ukrainian People's Republic has been determined. The local structure has been characterized and the efficiency of the local government bodies and self government institutions, judicial system, legal order bodies, military units' work on the stage of the difficult military and political situation, in the conditions of which the national state formation developed, has been analyzed.
