Object: aesthetic education of youth by means of folk trades in Transcarpathia during 1919 - 1939. Aim: to state the peculiarities of the development of aesthetic education of youth by means of folk trades on the basis of the integral retrospective analysis of its genesis in Transcarpathia in 1919 - 1939. Practical value: the conclusions of the thesis are used in the process of professional education of future teachers of handicraft at higher educational establishments; the key points of the investigation have found their application in the courses "History of pedagogics", "Methods of teaching fine arts".
