Object is rural population of Pereyaslav-Boryspil diocese mid eighteenth century. Purpose is comprehensive analysis of exogenous factors and demographic consequences of mortality in the process of reproduction of the rural population Pereyaslav-Boryspil diocese mid eighteenth st.General scientific methods - analysis, synthesis, system approach, structure-function analysis, methods of measurement and description, logical method, specially- historical methods - analysis of source and source-synthesis of historical and systematic, historical, genetic, historical and comparative; specific problem methods - a historical and demographic and quantitative methods.For the first time in ukrainian historiography clarified questions about the meaning of death rates and their impact on the natural increase rural Pereyaslav-Boryspil diocese mid eighteenth century.The age structure of the population and the type of life expectancy of rural people are clarified. Intervals between the demographic crisis and power past the Ukrainian early modern rural society, the peculiarities of their impact on the other age groups are analized.Regulations of conducting all necessary funeral ceremonies among the Pereyslav-Borispol diocese's laity were studied.
