Object ? the process of physical education of first form pupils; aim ? to substantiate the ways of effectiveness improvement in physical education of first formers by means of extending interaction of schools and families; methods: theoretical analysis and synthesis, expert evaluation, sociological survey methods (questionnaires and interviews) pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, methods of obtaining empirical data (anthropometry, physiometry, functional test, physical fitness test), methods of mathematical statistics; novelty ? it has been revealed significant differences in the assessment of parents and physical culture teachers of pupils' health; based on expert assessments it has been determined the most effective forms of school and family interaction in physical education of a first former; it has also been supplemented data on the relation of first formers and their parents attitude towards physical culture and sports; it has been supplemented as well a number of well-known measures of school and family interaction in physical education of first formers by the means of author's program; results ? the handbook "Program of interaction measures of school and family in physical education of first formers" has been designed. It has been implemented in the teaching process of Lviv State University of Physical Culture, in the process of raising the qualifications of physical culture teachers of Lviv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education and in the practice of physical education in secondary schools № 9, № 13 of Lviv; industry - physical education and sport.
