Kolesnichenko O. Paradox in the works of M.M. Zhvanetsky: semantic-stylistic and communicative-pragmatic aspects.

The object is a comic discourse of M.M. Zhvanetsky. The objective is to examine the semantic and stylistic, communicative and pragmatic features of a paradox in the works of M. Zhvanetsky. The methods are structural and semantic analyses, the method of linguistic paradigms composition, semantic analysis, complex analysis, discourse analysis, component analysis, contextual analysis, pragmatic analysis, theory of implicature, the method of conversive analysis. The dissertation deals with the research of semantic and stylistic, communicative and pragmatic features of paradoxical statements in the works of M. Zhvanetsky. The different views on the concept of a "paradox" have been analyzed, which is associated with similar concepts of "linguistic anomaly," "absurd," "nonsense" to determine their differential and integral features. The typology of paradoxical statements has been created. The concepts of "comic", "comic discourse", "language game" have been researched. The functions of paradox in comic text have been named. The field is and educational process.
