Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of reception and interpretation of the heritage of M. Montessori by foreign and Ukrainian scholars during the XXth - early XXIst century. An attempt has been made to describe and interpret the approaches of Ukrainian as well as American, British and German scientists to theoretical understanding and appraisal of the achievements of the Italian educator with regard for both subjective factors, that is philosophical and scientific pedagogical positions of the researchers and the general socio-historical conditions.
