Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of formation of personality in M. Pyrogov's pedagogical inheritance. The author's interest to the scientific heritage of the scientist is due to the fact that in M.Pyrogov's pedagogical work ways of creating harmonious personality, training for parents and teachers to the practical implementation of this process in the educational activity are traced. The research has proved that formation of pedagogical concept of the scientist was under the considerable influence of social changes and historical events that took place in the country at the turn of the 50 - 60-ies of the XIXth century.
