Essay

By means of complex of methods of researches of vermicular appendix1 of human fetuses and children the total number of studied appendixes is 107. From the 28th week of antanatal ontogenesis the synthesis of glycogen in the cells of epithelium goes down and the production of proteoglicans and sialic acids increases. From the 25th week of antenatal development near blood vessels we can find the accumulations of lymphocytes that consist of small and middle lymphocytes. Perivascular lymphoid knots appear on their basis later . They contain small, middle lymphocytes, reticular cells, macrophage, cells in the stage of apoptosis of caspase 3+ and proliferations (Ki67+). Immunohistochemically lymphocytes are presented by T-lymphocytes (CD3+, PNA+). From the 28 th week of antenatal period we can find lymphatic nodules contacting with an integumentary epithelium. They consist of small, middle lymphocytes, reticular cells, macrophages. The lymphocytes have receptors in the peripheral zone of knots, have receptors (CD3+, PNA+) in the center there are the lymphocytes with receptors (CD20+, SBA+),macrophage CD68+, PNA+, SBA+, cells in the stage of proliferation(Кi 67+) and apoptosis (caspase 3+). The forming of lymphoid structures proceeds in postnatal ontogenesis. By the end of the first month central zone appear in perivascular and lymphoepithelium knots. They consist of В- lymphocytes (CD20+, SBA+), cells in the stage of proliferation (Кi-67+), apoptosis (caspase 3+) and мacrophages (CD68+, PNA+, SBA+).The amount and sizes of lymphoid knots in the wall of vermicular appendix increases and the diameter of centers grows.
